Compton school board member charged in molestation

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Federal authorities say a member of the Compton Unified School Board has been arrested in connection with the sexual assault of an unconscious victim.

The Los Angeles Times reports (http://lat.ms/1nFwAFh) 31-year-old Skyy Fisher was charged Thursday in Los Angeles and released on $100,000 bail.

U.S. marshals arrested Fisher Wednesday on suspicion of oral copulation of a person who was asleep or unconscious.

No other information was released about the incident that led to the arrest.

Jasmyne Cannick, Fisher's spokeswoman, said he had no comment. It wasn't known if Fisher has an attorney.

In November, Fisher was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. That case is still pending.
